Treedom
In 2017, a stake was acquired in Treedom, an innovative start-up in the environmental sustainability sector. Since its founding in 2010, the company has planted more than four million trees across Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy. The trees are looked after by local farmers, who harvest the fruit without any monetary exchange, creating benefits for both the environment and the local economy.
